I would like this to be a recurring segment posing a question or two that open up a discussion in the comments section.On the subject of teen dating:
Age to start; type of dating allowed; appropriate age differences; and curfew restrictions?
Does gender play a role in your answers?

I have 2 daughters. 17 1/2 & almost (April) 21 year olds.
My opinion is:
Start - 14 & 15 - group dating and ocassional movie; 15-16 - couple, some car and group dating; 16-18 - any combination of above with frequency depending on level of maturity.
Age differences - 14 & 15 approx 1 year; 15 -16 - up tp 2 years, 16-18 - up to 3 years.
Curfew restrictions depend on age, activity, and maturity.
Gender does play a role for me even if I don't like it. I tend to be more lenient with my son but he is not driving yet so we'll see.
